Joan Hornig’s success story may be the envy of one and all. She was once a very famous Wall Street financier who later on went into becoming a Jewelry designer. She believed in what interested her and followed her passion for jewelry designing as well.
She states in an interview how she had made a promise to herself while taking her wedding vows that she would follow this passion some day. It was the September 11 attacks that changed her very outlook of life just like with many others. She’d often do beading projects with her younger daughter.
It was only one day when her daughter’s friend’s mother fell for the jewelry big time and asked for where she had got it from. She asked for if she could see some more of it. Next up the lady had brought along a friend. The next thing they knew was all were smitten by Joan’s jewelry and a glorious career in jewelry designing had just begun. Using scale, balance, color and movement, the lady looks at getting an innovative freshness to her designs that continuously win over the hearts of one and all.
Ask her as to which is her favorite piece of jewelry among the ones she has made. Quickly comes the reply that the last one she sold was her most favorite and the one she was about to sell was the new favorite. None the less her fan following isn’t merely restricted to an average American women. She even has big celebrities like Cameron Diaz and Eva Mendes as customers. Joan also deeply believes in charity which is for her a part of her lifestyle. She even tied u with TheKnot.com and came up with the wedding line 'Say I Do to Philanthropy' in July 2010.
